Wedding Reception at Rochester Double Tree Hotel
Lynnette & Brett had probably one of the coolest wedding receptions I have ever seen! The theme… “A Night at the Movies” featuring a Love Story Starring none other than Brett and Lynnette. The gig premier was at the Double Tree Hotel in down town Rochester, a fitting place with a grand entry. We had a fantastic day for photos and Brett and Lynnette had some friends with a beautifully landscaped park like yard. We had a blast, the guests danced all night long, and the guests took tons of wild photos in our photo booth.

With Record high 100+ degree temps in Rochester one might say it was the dog days of summer. So, a week later than planed we ended up with a beautiful summer evening to meet up for their engagement photos. Nicole and Corey’s sweet hearted bull dog will be playing the all important role of flower girl. I’m really looking forward to Nicole and Corey’s wedding this September, which will be river side in La Crosse!

Marsha and Jeremy could not have asked for a more beautiful day for a wedding. They got married at the small Dover United Methodist Church, which made for a great setting for the day. After the wedding a quick limo ride to my favorite Plummer house for some goofing around and a drink or two. Back to Dover we went for the wedding reception at the Fire house! Fire suits and helmets lined the back wall as they celebrated the night away with the garage doors opened wide. It was a great day and we all had a blast. Congrats guys!

Wedding at Cathedral of St. Joseph the Workman in La Crosse Wi
Ok, so the calendar said it was spring right… well, wintery temperatures did not keep this fearless wedding party from adventuring around some of the shadiest alleyways in the quest for great locations. Ben and Katie, wow what a beautiful wedding. I have never seen such an enormous and beautiful church. I think we even had the nuns confused when I asked that we turn off all the lights! By the end of the photos one of them came up to me and said she has never seen anyone take wedding photos that way. I took it as a compliment. After the wedding we headed over to Cedar Creek Country Club. Now since Ben is an avid hunter he had to work it into the wedding somehow… Since blaze orange was immediately vetoed they came up with “A Kiss for a Buck” and no they were not charging for kisses.

The wedding made me realize how small the world really is. Hasitha and Sambit are from Sri Lanka and India. Currently they were living in Calgary and the other in Las Angeles and decided to have their Reception with family in Rochester. When I first meet with these guys before their wedding reception I realized that Hasitha was a friend of mine from college and we have a bunch of classes together! The Kahler Grand Ballroom is a beautiful setting for any wedding or reception.

Fall, my favorite time of year for beautiful engagement photos! Heather and Mike greeted me along with their giant Great Dane to start our evening off. On our way back from cruising the country side we saw the most perfect light on the near by golf course.Meadow Lakes Golf Club was nice enough to let of hijack a cart and cruise around on their crisp greens. All and all we ended up some some great shots and I am looking forward to seeing you guys soon on your wedding day.
