Whitney and Gabe’s wedding was at the rustic Root Prairie Church in the heart of the minnesota bluff country.  A wet afternoon made for some more intimate photographs in the quaint shops in down town Lanesboro Minnesota.  These guys needed every inch of the Lanesboro Community center for all their guests.  The Live band Trouble Shooter was a blast and kept the party going all night.  You could not have asked for a nicer wedding celebration.  Congratulations guys!  Be sure to show some love and leave a comment below.

A Wedding on Ice Hockey and Hunting | Bob + Amanda

Bob was able to do something that every man dreams about…. finding a woman who loves hunting and fishing as much as him!  So it was an easy call to pop the question. Amanda and Bob got married a few weeks earlier in Florida and came back home to have their reception at the Bracketts Golf and Country Club in  Lakeville Minnesota.  They elegantly tied the hunting theme into their wedding with log centerpieces and mason jars with bird shot and shot gun shells. Congrats guys!

New Years Eve Peace Plaza Wedding | Aaron + Amanda

I knew I had a good night ahead of me when not 10 minutes into out photo shoot the groom does a trust fall into the laughing arms of his buddies.  These guys did not disappoint!   Grooms men in Daisy Duke’s, a guy in a green spandex full body suit in a full on dance off with the groom…. it was one heck of a night.   I’ve been at a lot of weddings and I can say these guys set more than a few firsts for me.  Besides bringing in the new year like none other, Amanda and Aaron didn’t have a typical December day in Minnesota.  Not a speck of snow on the ground and almost 50 degree temperatures (that might explain the Daisy Dukes) and I don’t think anyone minded given the wedding took place outdoors at Peace Plaza.

Cubs Twins Fans Put Aside Differences to Wed | Stacy + Josh

These two have done what many could never do… Marry a Cubs fan… or Twins fan depending on how you look at it. I think the most telling moment was when I asked what type of checks they would get when they join checking account… Twins… or Cubs. I’ll let these two slug that one out. Maybe the outcome of the big Cubs vs Twins game thats right before their wedding can decide that one. I’m looking forward to seeing you guys at your wedding and I had a fantastic time during our engagement shoot. And what do you know we didn’t even get the 8 inches of snow the weather guy was promising us.
